General Organization

As in registered schools, the the Middle school of Lycée Blaise Pascal d'Abidajn welcomes all pupils at the end of Elementary school without passing exams. Only students from non-registered schools pass a level test. It allows all students to attend school in a unique setting.

There are four years of college education: 6th, 5th, 4th and 3rd.

Compulsory education is organized into three-year cycles, which give time to learn better. In college the sixth is the last year of cycle 3, the other levels constitute cycle 4.

Teaching

Modern languages

Middle school rich linguistic offer and support for learning modern languages. The spaces dedicated to different languages – German, English, Arabic and Spanishl – allow to deepen linguistic and cultural knowledge through various resources and Educational activities adapted.

Methodology

The school offers educational courses for accompanying students in their personal, citizen and artistic development. The Future course prepare their professional project, the Citizens strengthen their civic engagement, and Health course raises awareness of well-being. The Artistic and Cultural Education Course (PEAC) enrich their culture through various activities.

Guidance

Orientation is at the heart of student support. The Psychologists of National Education (PSY EN) provide personalized support, while the Careers Forum and Internships The observation internship concrete opportunities to explore the professional world, with the support of the main teachers.

By delegation The Normandy AcademyThe Review Coordination Unit is responsible for centralizing the organization of the reviews for Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Mali.

The examinations concerned are:

- National Brevet Diploma (DNB)
- Bachelor's degree (General and STMG):
- 11th grade exam
- 12th grade exam

Enrolment in examinations is conditional on payment of examination fees. The amount of fees varies according to the situation of the candidates:

- CandidatesSchool" : Students enrolled in a school approved by AEFE
- CandidatesCNED schools": CNED candidates in full regulated class
- Individual applicants : Candidates not meeting either of the above two categories

For students enrolled in the French high school Blaise Pascal, the invoicing of examination fees is carried out by the school at the month of October. The invoice sent to families shows a specific line for examination fees.

CONDITIONS FOR ACCESS TO DISPOSAL

The situation of children
- Nationality : The child must be of French nationality.
- The residence : He must reside in Côte d'Ivoire with his family (father and/or mother/legal guardian).

- Age : He must be at least 3 years of age during the calendar year of school year.
- Course attendance : Regular attendance
School results:
After the age of compulsory schooling (16 years), do not have a school delay of more than two years.
At the age of compulsory schooling, the award of a grant is not dependent on academic achievement.

The Lycée Français Blaise Pascal offers a school transportation service. It is insured by SOTRA.

This service is reserved for children enrolled in middle school, high school and prepa class. It is insured from Monday to Friday from the beginning to the end of the school year.

Registration school transport done via application EDUKA.

Four (04) lines are available to users. The line plan is available in this portal. It allows you to view the routes and stops offered via Google maps.

The Lycée Français Blaise Pascal offers a school catering service. This service is only available to students enrolled in middle school, high school and prepa class as well as to staff.

School catering is open from the beginning to the end of the school year. The school restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

It is insured by ANSAMBLE.

The wearing of uniform is compulsory at school and high school and does not suffer any derogation from the law from the beginning of the year.. Only students wearing full uniforms will therefore be allowed to take the courses. Failing this, the student will not be admitted to class (permanent admission and family appeal by the school life office). This also applies to sportswear and science blouse (SVT and physics-chemistry courses).

Uniforms of the year 2025/2026 will only be allowed if they meet the standards set by the establishment.
