Founded in 2012 at a general meeting of the parents of the Jacques Prévert School and the Lycée Blaise Pascal,APE-LBP automatically brings together all parents as members of the law.
The members of the Bureau shall be elected for a term of two years at the general meetings. In the event of departure during a term of office, replacements shall be made without further election.
The current office, the third since the establishment of the association, was renewed during the school year 2016-17. LAPE is a member of the Federation of Foreigner Parents Associations.

Advice and Representation of Parents
Representation of parents in regulatory bodies (school board, school board, second degree board, disciplinary board, appeal board, health and safety committee, local scholarship board)
Proposals and Solutions
Proposals for improving or finding solutions to reported problems
Participation in regulatory proceedings
Animation of the parenting community (individual or delegated parents): counselling, representation, exchanges on topics of interest to parents
Active engagement on the ground
Effective field presence to make proposals for improvement or to seek solutions in case of reported problems.

Our Actions to Support the Educational Community
- Scholarships to the books of June and September
- Awareness-raising meetings on a variety of topics related to the education, health or well-being of children and bringing together parents and professionals in the field who are in contact with children. Thus, the meeting on learning disabilities was very successful, with the creation of a mutual aid association of the parents concerned. The subject of addictions among adolescents, also gathered a trio of professionals providing a different light
- Design or active participation in events such as the Forum of Trades and Training (co-organisation, mobilization of professionals), book day, health day at primary school etc...
- To this are added the partnerships that we have built with companies in the square, giving entitlement to discounts for parents
